Step one ~The Ignite masterclass

What you’ll experience on the day.

Microsoft gives businesses a 30-day plan for getting Copilot to stick: four weeks, four themes, one habit at a time. At Ignite we run that whole journey live, in one half day, with your leadership team in the room.

The usual way

30 days

A trial group works through one theme a week, while someone tracks usage and hopes the habits stick.

At Ignite

One half day

You see every theme working on real tasks, decide where it fits your business, and leave knowing exactly how to run your first 30 days.

The agenda

Four sessions, one clear plan.

Each session is one week of the 30-day plan, shown live on the kind of work your teams do every day. Our examples come from professional services; we shape them to the businesses in the room.

  1. 0
    Before we start

    Set up to succeed

What has to be in place before anyone opens Copilot: the right first users, the handful of settings that make day one work (web search, Copilot Chat pinned where people work, Teams transcription), a place for questions and wins, and a partner to switch it all on with you.

You’ll leave knowing who your first users should be and what to switch on first.

  2. 1
    Session one

    Take control of your inbox

Find what matters, summarise the long threads, draft the replies and plan the day, live in Outlook.

On real work The follow-up after every client meeting, written in minutes instead of left until Friday.

  3. 2
    Session two

    Get more from every meeting

Prepare in minutes, capture the decisions and actions as they happen, and follow up with confidence in Teams.

On real work Client calls and reviews: walk in briefed, walk out with the recap and next steps already done.

  4. 3
    Session three

    Create in less time

Draft documents and presentations and make sense of data in Word, PowerPoint and Excel, so your people spend their time reviewing, not producing.

On real work Turning service and client data into the report or proposal it was always meant to become.

  5. 4
    Session four

    Automate repetitive work

Spot the tasks that come round again and again, and see how research, deeper analysis and multi-step jobs can be handed to agents.

On real work The same client questions, answered consistently without pulling a senior person away.

    Your first 30 days

We turn the morning into your plan: which users to start with, how you’ll measure progress in Copilot Analytics, when you’ll share results with leadership, and when to decide on a wider rollout. Plus the readiness questions to settle first: security, permissions and data.

You’ll leave with a practical 30-day plan, and a clear view of whether Copilot is worth rolling out further.

What you take home

Not notes. A plan you can run on Monday.

Everything from the day is built around the decision you have to make next, so nothing is left as inspiration on a slide.

  • Your first usersWho gets Copilot first, and why they’ll get the most from it.
  • The setup checklistThe settings, licences and support channel to have ready before day one.
  • Four use casesInbox, meetings, creating and automating, matched to your own teams’ work.
  • How you’ll measure itWhat to track week by week, and what “working” looks like at day 30.
  • Your readiness gapsThe security, permissions and data questions to settle before a wider rollout.
  • A defined next stepIf you want to go further: Elevate for leaders, then Expand for the whole team.
